What documents are needed for a Thai driving license?+

You need a valid passport, medical certificate, proof of address (residence certificate or TM.30), certified translation of your foreign license and 2 ID photos.

Can I drive in Thailand with a French license?+

Yes, with a valid international driving permit for a short stay. For extended stays, a Thai license is mandatory and required in case of inspection or accident.

How long does it take to get the license?+

With a complete file, the license can be obtained in one day at the DLT. File preparation takes 2-3 days. We can finalize everything in less than a week.

Do I need to take an exam for a Thai license?+

Yes: a color vision test, reflex test and a multiple-choice theory exam on Thai road rules. We help you prepare for the theory test.

How much does a driving license cost in Thailand?+

Official fees are approximately 305 THB for a car license and 205 THB for a motorcycle license. The first license is valid for 2 years, then renewable for 5 years. Renewal fees are similar. Our service includes file preparation.

How to convert a French license to a Thai license?+

You need a certificate from the French consulate, a certified translation of your license, a medical exam (vision and reflexes), and a residence certificate. No driving test is required for conversion. Only vision and reflex tests are mandatory.
